Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (Reach Truck, Pallet Jack, etc.) safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload shipping trucks, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Inspect forklifts and equipment daily for maintenance needs and report any issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Verify inventory counts and document stock movements accurately in the system.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse operations and meet daily productivity goals.
Qualifications
- Current forklift certification or ability to obtain one within 30 days (OSHA compliant).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory data.
- Must be willing to work in various weather conditions (loading docks).
