Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently at all times.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety protocols are followed.
- Inspect forklifts and equipment daily for any mechanical issues and report them immediately to management.
- Organize and maintain a clean, orderly warehouse environment to prevent accidents and ensure workflow.
- Verify inventory accuracy by counting stock and accurately logging materials into the inventory system.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing and shipment of customer orders.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (Valid License required).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory logging and order picking systems.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Valid Driver's License (Preferred).
