Responsibilities
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Manage inventory by accurately counting stock and organizing warehouse shelves according to established protocols.
- Maintain equipment by performing daily pre-shift inspections and reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
- Adhere to safety standards strictly, including wearing all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and shipping schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (Class A or B) is mandatory.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to read pick lists and inventory logs accurately.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse management systems.
