Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in a high-volume environment.
- Load and unload trucks in strict accordance with safety protocols and weight limits.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are up to date.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections on all machinery and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of hazards to ensure OSHA compliance.
- Collaborate with the night shift team to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Forklift Certification (required).
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse, distribution, or industrial setting.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and hazard prevention.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory or completing digital checklists.
