Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts (Reach Trucks, Clamp Trucks) to move, locate, and stack merchandise.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently while maintaining accuracy of inventory records.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure safe operation and report any mechanical issues.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including organizing pallets and shelving.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Assist in inventory counts and stock replenishment as directed by the Shift Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid and current forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy regarding inventory and safety procedures.
- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly with team leads and management.
- Availability: Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Background: Must pass a drug screen and background check.
