Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery including sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and order pickers to move materials efficiently.
- Load and unload freight from trailers, trucks, and railcars, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with OSHA safety standards and company policies.
- Perform daily safety checks on equipment and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Manage inventory accuracy by scanning barcodes, updating logs, and conducting cycle counts.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders and efficient workflow.
- Adhere to all safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CDL not required, but forklift license is mandatory).
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but we offer paid training for qualified candidates.
- Ability to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory and operating warehouse management software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
