Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Manage inventory by accurately tagging, shelving, and locating stock items.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent hazards and ensure efficiency.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (Must provide valid license).
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a distribution environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime.
