Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Assist in the accurate counting, tagging, and storage of inventory stock according to company protocols.
- Material Handling: Stack, arrange, and organize pallets and merchandise to ensure optimal warehouse space utilization.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect goods for damage and ensure that orders are filled accurately and efficiently.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Availability: Reliable attendance and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- License: A valid driver's license is preferred.
