Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to safely load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Verify incoming and outgoing inventory counts and ensure accuracy in the warehouse management system.
- Assist in the preparation of orders for shipping and ensure proper labeling and documentation.
- Perform routine pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues to management immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse operations and meet daily productivity targets.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all material handling tasks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred; no prior experience required for entry-level positions.
- Ability to obtain a valid forklift operator license or certification within the first 30 days of employment.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory and time.
