Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Load, unload, and stage freight accurately according to shipping and receiving orders.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of forklifts to ensure equipment safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in cycle counts as required.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline operations and meet daily productivity targets.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse layout.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) license required.
- Previous experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and scanning.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
