Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently in a busy warehouse environment.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is secured properly to prevent damage.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock organization to ensure efficiency.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFOT) or equivalent experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C or higher preferred for yard duty).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and stock management.
- Strong attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to safety standards.
