Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, load, and unload materials safely.
- Inspect equipment for safety issues and report mechanical problems immediately.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including OSHA regulations and warehouse policies.
- Keep the work area organized and free of hazards to ensure a safe environment.
- Assist in inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff.
- Package and prepare shipments for shipping and delivery.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to obtain a forklift certification (training provided).
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
