Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts for safety issues before starting shifts and perform routine maintenance checks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting regular stock counts and organizing storage areas.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding warehouse safety.
- Collaborate with team leads and inventory managers to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
- Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (Class A, B, or C) with valid license.
- Proven experience operating industrial forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and material handling procedures.
- Physically capable of performing the essential functions of the job.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
