Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (including Reach Trucks, Pallet Jacks, and Order Pickers) safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock is organized according to warehouse management systems.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure all safety mechanisms are functioning correctly.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse operations and meet daily shipping targets.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and scanning.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
