Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight safely and efficiently using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inspect forklift equipment for any mechanical issues or safety hazards before operation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by tagging and logging all incoming and outgoing stock.
- Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily shipping and receiving deadlines.
- Perform regular quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Assist in general warehouse duties as needed during peak seasons.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid and current forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and walking on uneven surfaces.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
