Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in cycle counting and inventory accuracy checks to maintain stock levels.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections and report any equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Shipping & Receiving: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff to optimize workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Valid License: Must possess a valid OSHA forklift operator certification or be willing to obtain one during training.
- Experience: Previous experience operating heavy machinery (e.g., Class 1, 3, or 4 forklifts) is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory handling.
- Reliability: Must have a consistent work history and be available for full-time shifts.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency for safety instructions and team communication.
