Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to safely load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and warehouse equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and document stock movements using warehouse management software.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure working environment.
- Assist in organizing storage areas and ensuring pallets are stacked securely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) license is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Valid driver's license (not required for the role, but preferred).
