Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to 5S standards.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
- Accurately update inventory logs and perform cycle counts as directed.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating stand-up or sit-down forklifts (1+ years preferred).
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic reading and writing skills for completing daily logs and safety checks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
