Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts for any mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance checks before starting shifts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Verify inventory accuracy by counting stock and preparing shipments for distribution.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies regarding material handling and traffic flow.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned, including pallet jacking and order picking.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B forklift operator certification is required.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and warehouse procedures.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and labeling.
- Reliable transportation and a consistent work history.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
