Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (Sit-down, Reach, Clamp) safely and efficiently to move pallets and inventory.
- Load and unload trucks in accordance with safety protocols and shipping schedules.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and safety checks to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in the packaging, labeling, and staging of products for distribution.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- License: Valid Driver's License (Class C) is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate a busy warehouse floor.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to read shipping labels and pick lists accurately.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends if required.
