Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and to delivery vehicles.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and safety equipment to ensure OSHA compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and tagging stock as it moves through the facility.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and order fulfillment.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CDL is not required, but certification is mandatory).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating powered industrial trucks (Forklifts).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory management.
