Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift safety inspections of all forklift equipment and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Strictly adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock is organized and easily accessible.
- Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing shipments for delivery to customers.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and quality control personnel.
Qualifications
- Current and valid forklift certification (OSHA 10 or equivalent) is required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen prior to employment.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and bending/reaching.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable attendance and a positive work attitude.
