Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (Counterbalance, Reach Truck, Pallet Jack) safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Load and unload freight from trailers and trucks, ensuring proper placement and securing of loads to prevent damage.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and perform routine maintenance checks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and scan barcodes as required.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator license (CFL) or valid equivalent certification.
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle record check.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, twisting, bending, and standing for extended shifts.
- Strong adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
