Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure safety compliance and proper functionality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and OSHA regulations.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock counts and organization.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Document and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid and current forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Previous experience in warehousing, distribution, or manufacturing is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs on a frequent basis.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and accident prevention.
- Basic computer skills for logging hours and inventory data.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
