As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring our supply chain runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Operate electric and internal combustion forklifts to move materials, parts, and products within the facility and to and from the loading docks and trailers.
- Load and unload trucks accurately, ensuring cargo is secured properly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock counts using warehouse management systems.
- Inspect forklifts for any mechanical issues and perform routine pre-shift safety checks.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
