Responsibilities
- Operate various types of forklifts (Sit-down, Reach, Pallet Jack) to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse facility.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and maintain organized storage areas to minimize picking errors.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Inspect equipment daily for safety issues and report any mechanical malfunctions immediately.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely shipment and receipt of goods.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace to promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Current and valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10/30 or equivalent).
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer skills for scanning and logging inventory.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
