Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse and to delivery vehicles.
- Inventory Accuracy: Perform regular cycle counts and ensure all inventory records are updated accurately in our warehouse management system.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment for all employees.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct thorough pre-shift inspections of forklifts to identify potential issues and perform basic maintenance checks.
- Organization: Maintain an organized warehouse layout, optimizing storage space and ensuring products are easily accessible.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must hold a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a professional warehouse setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory tracking and a commitment to safety procedures.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time, day-shift employment with consistent attendance.
