Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (including Reach Trucks, Pallet Jacks, and Order Pickers) to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect equipment for safety issues before and after each shift to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock locations are properly labeled.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies regarding material handling.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the work area to ensure a safe environment.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work weekends, including Saturday and Sunday.
