Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in strict accordance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks, ensuring cargo is secured properly to prevent damage.
- Conduct routine pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated zones to maintain optimal warehouse flow.
- Verify incoming and outgoing materials against purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid CFPO (Certified Forklift Operator) license or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating counterbalance and reach trucks.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory data.
