Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in a warehouse setting.
- Load, unload, and organize inventory with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure proper working order.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety compliance at all times.
- Assist in inventory counting and stock rotation (cycle counting) as required.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies regarding hazardous materials and heavy machinery.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff regarding stock levels and order statuses.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Forklift Operator Certification (we offer training for the right candidates).
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Physically capable of standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and climbing stairs/ladders.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to work a full-time schedule (including weekends or overtime as needed).
