Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated warehouse zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment safely
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory in cold storage areas
- Conduct daily safety inspections of equipment and facility conditions
- Follow FIFO protocols and manage inventory tracking systems
- Adhere to HACCP and GMP standards for food safety compliance
- Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workflow
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
