Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks and containers maintaining strict temperature protocols
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in cold storage environments
- Monitor and record temperature/humidity levels using digital systems
- Inspect products for quality compliance and report irregularities
- Implement FIFO inventory rotation procedures
- Adhere to OSHA and HACCP safety standards
- Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of all storage areas
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in 32°F-45°F environments for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand/walk 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
