Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer units
- Safely load/unload, organize, and rotate inventory using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct daily sanitation and safety inspections of equipment and storage areas
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies to warehouse management
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA protocols for food safety and workplace safety
- Operate temperature monitoring systems and document environmental data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
