Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move products in and out of cold storage units while adhering to strict temperature control requirements.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate stock records using handheld scanners.
- Monitor temperature logs and ensure refrigeration systems are functioning within safe parameters.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and comply with OSHA safety standards.
- Package and label shipments accurately for timely distribution.
- Assist in the receiving and processing of incoming goods and raw materials.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage environments is highly preferred.
- Valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) is required; training may be provided for the right candidate.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods in cold environments.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with inventory management software.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed.
