Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick and pack customer orders using handheld RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects and ensure proper packaging to prevent shipping errors.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counts as directed by management.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other warehouse equipment as required.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Organization: Keep workstations, aisles, and shelves organized and clean to maximize workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training is provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and walk long distances throughout the shift.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to learn RF scanner technology quickly.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic with a focus on punctuality and attendance.
- Forklift Certification: Valid forklift certification is a plus.
