Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack Orders: Accurately select items from shelves using handheld scanners and pack them securely for shipment using proper materials.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies immediately to the shift supervisor.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all outgoing orders meet company quality standards.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure safety compliance.
- Material Handling: Operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Adherence to Protocols: Strictly follow all safety guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) set by management.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail stocking is a plus but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and the ability to use scanning equipment is highly desirable.
