Responsibilities
- Pick, Pack, and Prepare: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare merchandise for shipment according to customer orders and pick lists.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by scanning items and updating the warehouse management system.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all packaging meets company standards to prevent damage in transit.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate powered industrial trucks (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) and handheld scanning devices.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and warehouse regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Organization: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy to ensure the right items are picked and shipped.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; training provided.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency and ability to communicate effectively with team leads.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
