Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting regular cycle counts and ensuring stock levels are optimal.
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, stack, and organize merchandise within the warehouse.
- Load and Unload: Receive incoming shipments and load outbound trucks, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets company standards to prevent damage in transit.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED: Minimum educational requirement.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and navigate warehouse aisles.
- Forklift Certification: Previous experience operating forklifts (Class A, B, or C) is preferred but training may be provided.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to verify data accuracy and spot discrepancies in inventory.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable history of attendance and punctuality.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
