Responsibilities
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently to move stock within the warehouse.
- Execute picking, packing, and shipping orders with a focus on accuracy and speed to meet daily KPI targets.
- Maintain a pristine warehouse environment by keeping workstations organized, floors clear of debris, and adhering to 5S standards.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ensure strict compliance with all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently, verifying shipments against packing lists.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; relevant logistics experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate handheld scanners or warehouse software.
- Previous warehouse experience (preferred but not required for top candidates).
- Forklift certification is a strong plus but training can be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
