Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for next-gen quantum computing architectures
- Develop strategic frameworks for ethical AI governance and deployment
- Architect sustainable tech solutions for climate resilience and circular economy
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Monitor global tech trends and patent landscapes for competitive advantage
- Mentor interdisciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and futurists
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in technology R&D with 5+ years in strategic planning
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, bio-integrated systems
- Proven track record of securing $10M+ in government or corporate innovation grants
- Deep understanding of global tech policy frameworks (e.g., EU AI Act, US CHIPS Act)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
