Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in emerging technologies including generative AI, quantum computing, and neuro-interfaces
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global tech incubators
- Present technology forecasts and innovation strategies to C-suite executives and board members
- Mentor a team of 8-12 technology architects and research scientists
- Drive innovation sprints and hackathons to prototype breakthrough solutions
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes through proprietary analytics
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products in AI, AR/VR, or biotech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation principles
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications (IEEE, ACM, etc.)
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python preferred)
