Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize global tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to create 5-year strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for emerging technology adoption
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders quarterly
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-driven KPIs
- Establish partnerships with leading research institutions and venture capital firms
- Mentor a team of 5 senior technology analysts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years at director level
- Proven track record of scaling technologies from concept to market leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with specialization in emerging tech
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains (e.g., AGI, neuromorphic computing, decentralized systems)
- Exceptional executive communication with ability to distill complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications (MIT Tech Review, Wired, etc.)
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants and funding
