Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation strategy across AI, quantum computing, and biotech sectors
- Lead scenario planning and horizon scanning to identify emerging trends with disruptive potential
- Design and facilitate cross-functional innovation workshops with executive stakeholders
- Translate future insights into product roadmaps with measurable KPIs and ROI projections
- Build and manage a network of futurists, academics, and industry thought leaders
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and influence high-stakes decisions
- Mentor innovation teams in applying foresight methodologies to current projects
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in innovation strategy, futures research, or technology roadmap development
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercialized products/services
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong network within tech innovation ecosystems (VCs, startups, research institutions)
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience with AI/ML tools for trend prediction and pattern recognition
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation initiatives with measurable impact
