Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, patent landscapes, and socio-economic shifts to forecast 2026+ market opportunities
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into R&D roadmaps and product roadmaps
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Author forward-looking white papers and thought leadership for industry forums
- Advise executive team on emerging risks and disruptive threats
- Mentor junior futurists using our proprietary Futurecasting Methodology
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing future-ready commercial strategies
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or tech innovation
- Strong data visualization and scenario-planning skills
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or equivalent methodology
- Experience with horizon scanning tools and trend analysis platforms
