Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology foresight frameworks for quantum, neurotech, and climate tech verticals
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports with actionable innovation roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional 'Horizon Scanning' workshops with Fortune 500 partners
- Advise on ethical AI deployment and sustainable tech integration
- Represent company at global futurist forums (Davos, Web Summit, etc.)
- Mentor R&D teams on emerging technology adoption strategies
- Author thought leadership pieces for MIT Technology Review and WIRED
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in futurism/forecasting
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on emerging tech impacts
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI safety
- Proven track record influencing C-suite technology investment decisions
- Proficiency in horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Speaking experience at 10+ major tech conferences
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Thinking, or equivalent
