Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature (-10°F to 40°F) and humidity levels in refrigerated/frozen storage zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and temperature monitoring equipment with precision
- Inspect product integrity and quality upon receipt, storage, and shipment
- Implement FIFO inventory rotation and accurate record-keeping systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in cold environments
- Coordinate with logistics teams for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Perform preventive maintenance on cold storage equipment
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in sub-zero temperatures for 8+ hours
- Proficiency with inventory management software (WMS experience preferred)
- OSHA 10-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- High school diploma or GED required
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Spanish bilingualism strongly preferred
