Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated zones
- Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and automated conveyor systems
- Inspect and document product quality/condition during handling
- Execute FIFO inventory rotation and cycle count procedures
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in cold environments
- Perform preventative maintenance on refrigeration units
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly in sub-zero conditions
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
