Responsibilities
- Operate Heavy Machinery: Safely load, unload, and move pallets using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Temperature Control: Monitor refrigeration units and storage areas to ensure strict adherence to required temperature ranges for product preservation.
- Inventory Management: Conduct accurate cycle counts and stock checks to maintain precise inventory records using warehouse management software.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders efficiently to meet daily production targets.
- Facility Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and sanitation tasks to ensure a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in cold environments.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to learn inventory management systems quickly.
- Certification: Valid forklift certification is a plus (we provide training for the right candidates).
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a commitment to safety.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
