Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in warehouse environments
- Load/unload trucks using proper weight distribution techniques
- Perform daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS systems
- Train new operators on safety protocols and equipment operation
- Collaborate with warehouse team for efficient workflow
Qualifications
- OSHA Forklift Certification (valid or ability to obtain)
- 2+ years of experience operating sit-down forklifts
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and warehouse best practices
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends
