Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and proper functionality.
- Organize, stack, and inventory products accurately to maintain warehouse organization and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely processing of shipments and adherence to delivery schedules.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety protocols.
- Document and report any equipment malfunctions or inventory discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to operate different types of forklifts, including sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
